YARD DUTY & CAR PARK SAFETY | Upwey Primary School

YARD DUTY

One member of staff is assigned to yard duty (playground supervision) between 8.45 and 9.00 am and from 3.30 to 3.45 pm each day. Teachers are rostered at all times during morning recess (11.00 – 11.30 am.) and lunchtime (1.10 – 2.00 pm.). Students who are injured or become aware of a problem in the school grounds are expected to refer the problem to these teachers who will then refer for first aid treatment if required.

CAR PARK SAFETY

For the safety of ALL children you are requested to leave and pick up your child/ren in Darling Avenue or the Upwey Community Baptist Church car park. A supervised school crossing operates to ensure all students can enter school safely. The school car park is for the SOLE use of the disabled parents and the parents of disabled students.
